Is a Photoshoot just a way of

Recording and
 Keeping Memories Alive?

In general, the first thing that comes to most people’s minds when they think of photography is that it is

just a collection of images created with the intention of “recording”, “keeping memories alive” in the future.

However, what they don’t realize is that a hyphenated photo shoot can also be extremely powerful and impactful when it comes to self-esteem, positioning in the market we operate in, self-love, and self-awareness.

Understanding how images can communicate emotions and sensations that can be difficult to transmit with words alone can completely change the perspective of those who decide to invest in their personal image in a way that allows for personal expression and showcases personality.

Communicating an artistic message, expressing your essence, or having the peace of mind to explore an incredible city like New York without having to ask people on the streets to take your photographs, depend on selfies, or take photos only in “instagrammable” places can often be the turning point in terms of how we perceive ourselves and convey our message in the world.

In this context and purpose, photo shoots continue to be a fantastic tool for intimate expression as they allow photographers to tell their stories through images.

I know that it is much easier to take your own photographs with a cell phone or camera when you travel, but you may leave with the feeling of not having had an experience that has truly marked you, precisely because you do not have time to think about details such as better angles, composition, camera setup, editing, outfit options, and even a helper who can hold your belongings while you are captured in scenic locations.

Considering all this, it is worth rethinking the investment, which will undoubtedly bring a different and unique experience.
